SAP On-Premises Services

The Road Accident Fund (RAF) has issued a Request for Information (RFI), reference RAF/2026/00065, inviting SAP OEMs and accredited partners or resellers to provide information on the provision of SAP on-premises services. Only the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an accredited SAP partner/reseller is eligible to respond. Respondents must confirm their status and provide documentary proof of OEM accreditation or authorisation where applicable. The RFI also allows bidders to indicate their bidding structure, whether as an individual bidder, joint venture, consortium, or using subcontractors, and to provide relevant company and contact details.

The RFI's Schedule 1 sets out the pricing summary and software inventory for the current SAP landscape. It covers SAP Enterprise Support, with initial support percentages of 25.05415% for a group of listed case IDs and 23.1% for a separate case ID, calculated on a maintenance base and initial annual support fee. The software list includes SAP Business Objects BI Suite (concurrent and named user licences), SAP Access Control (monitored users), SAP Application Limited and Professional users, Business Expert upgrade users, SAP Manager and Employee Self-Service users, SAP Payroll Processing (by employee), SAP Developer users, SAP HANA Runtime edition for Applications and SAP BW, SAP Process Orchestration (by core), and SAP Data Services (by core). Quantities and prices are net of applicable taxes, and the document is not a tax invoice.

Bidders with prior experience are asked to provide client references, including project descriptions, services rendered, contract dates, and client contact details, and may attach written reference letters. Enquiries must be submitted in writing to bacsecretariat@raf.co.za (Demand Management) before the closing date. Responses must be emailed to the same address by the closing deadline. The RAF reserves the right to use submitted proposals in other procurement methods, which may result in an award. This RFI is primarily an information-gathering exercise to inform the RAF's procurement approach for its SAP on-premises environment.
