CCTV Equipment Supply and Delivery

Oudtshoorn Municipality, through its Supply Chain Management Office, has invited formal written quotations for the supply and delivery of CCTV equipment over a period of one year. The request, issued under reference RFQ 03/10/2026, covers the procurement of closed-circuit television equipment to support the municipality's surveillance and security requirements. Detailed technical specifications and quantities are contained in the RFQ advert and accompanying quotation documents, and enquiries on specifications may be directed to Mr. A. Quotations must be submitted on the original, fully completed documents, sealed and clearly marked with the RFQ reference, and deposited in the municipal quotation box at 26 Church Street, Oudtshoorn, no later than 12:00 on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. Submissions will be opened publicly immediately after the closing time in the Supply Chain Management Office at the same address. Quotations must remain valid for 90 days after the closing date. Bidders not yet registered on the Central Supplier Database (www.csd.gov.za) must register before award, as this is a prerequisite.

Evaluation will follow the 80/20 preference point system. Up to 10 points are allocated for B-BBEE status and up to 10 points for locality of supplier, with suppliers located within the Oudtshoorn municipal boundaries scoring highest, followed by the Eden District (5 points), the Western Cape Province (2 points), and suppliers outside the province (0 points). The municipality reserves the right to withdraw or re-advertise the invitation, reject any quotation, or accept part of a quotation, and it does not commit to accepting the lowest-priced or highest-scoring bid. Some projects under this quotation may not materialise. Persons in the service of the state will not be considered for award.
