Employee Assistance Programme Services

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) is inviting proposals from experienced service providers to implement a robust Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for its approximately 400 employees nationwide. The EAP aims to improve employee wellbeing, productivity, and organizational resilience through a variety of services, including confidential counselling, legal and financial advisory services, and wellness programmes. The successful provider must ensure 24/7 availability of services in all 11 official South African languages, including South African Sign Language, to cater to the diverse needs of employees and their families.

The scope of work encompasses clinical and counselling services, critical incident support, and wellbeing initiatives, with a commitment to deliver measurable outcomes such as session utilization rates and participant feedback. The EAP will also include regular reporting on service effectiveness and employee engagement metrics. Providers must demonstrate their capacity to deliver services across all nine provinces of South Africa, ensuring that employees have access to the necessary support at any time, including weekends and public holidays. This contract will span three years, with a focus on enhancing employee mental health and overall workplace satisfaction.
