Waste Management Training Services

The South African National Parks (SANParks) is inviting bids for the appointment of a service provider to conduct specialized training in waste management. The training must align with the SAQA Unit Standards 264475 (Treat and Process Waste), 264460 (Collect and Transport Waste), and 264461 (Demonstrate Understanding of Integrated Waste Management). The target audience includes 60 employees working at various waste management facilities within Kruger National Park, specifically in the Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces.

The selected service provider will be responsible for designing a comprehensive training program that includes curriculum development, interactive workshops, and practical assessments. The training should be delivered within a six-month timeframe and must incorporate both theoretical and practical components to ensure participants gain a robust understanding of waste management practices. Post-training evaluations and the issuance of accredited certificates are also required to validate the training outcomes. This initiative not only aims to improve service quality but also ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, thereby enhancing the overall sustainability efforts of SANParks.
