Law Enforcement Uniforms Supply and Delivery

Kannaland Municipality, in the Western Cape, has issued formal written price quotation FQ 19/2026 for the once-off supply and delivery of law enforcement uniforms for its community services and traffic departments. Bidders must submit a number of compulsory documents with their quotation, including a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN, Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, a recent municipal account, a signed certificate of authority, and the completed MBD forms (MBD 1, 3.1, 4, 6.1, 6.2, 7.1, 8 and 9). Product data sheets must accompany the bid, and bidders who are not manufacturers or importers must provide a written letter of appointment as distributor, dated no more than one year before the closing date. Samples may be requested and tested, and a 30-day trial run may apply to the highest-scoring bidder. Quotations are evaluated on an 80/20 preference point system, with 80 points for price and up to 20 points for B-BBEE status and local supplier location, where Kannaland-based suppliers score highest. Bids must remain valid for 90 days after the closing date, and late, faxed or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
