Design Services for Dichoeung Internal Road

Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality invites suitably qualified service providers to submit bids for the design of the Dichoeung internal road, Sekhukhune District, Limpopo. The project covers the engineering design work needed to prepare for the construction of an internal access road in the Dichoeung area. The detailed scope, design standards, deliverables, and technical specifications are set out in the bid document, which can be downloaded free of charge from www.etender.gov.za or obtained from the municipal offices in Jane Furse for a non-refundable fee of R560.00, payable in cash or by bank-guaranteed cheque. Bidders should review the specifications carefully before submitting a bid.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on 25 October 2026 at 10:00 at the Municipal Chamber. Attendance is mandatory for bidders. Completed and signed bid documents must be sealed in an envelope marked with the project number (Lim473/design-Dichoeung/26/27/023) and project description, and deposited in the tender box at the Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality offices in Jane Furse before the closing date of 26 November 2026 at 12:00. Late bids will not be accepted. Bids remain valid for 90 days.

The municipality will evaluate bids under the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and its revised procurement regulations, using 100 points for functionality and an 80/20 price-to-preference points system. The 20 preference points are allocated to municipality-specific goals, which may include HDI-owned, women-owned, youth-owned, and disability-owned businesses, as well as businesses located within the municipality. The lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted, and bids that are not fully completed may be disqualified. Bidders must initial each page of the document and sign where required.
