Nquthu Local Municipality invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers to tender for the lease of multi-functional printing services for a period of 36 months (Tender Reference: NQULM08/2026-2027). The requirement covers the supply, installation, and leasing of multi-functional printing machines capable of printing, copying, scanning, and related document management functions for the municipality's offices. Bidders should be prepared to provide maintenance, servicing, consumables arrangements, and technical support for the duration of the contract, as set out in the detailed tender specifications.
Evaluation will be based on the 80/20 preference point system prescribed by the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, 2022, for quotations with a value between R1.00 and R50,000,000.00 including VAT. Specific goals are as follows: Specific Goal 1 (Ownership), worth up to 10 points, awarded to businesses more than 50% owned by black persons (10 points) or less than 50% owned by black persons (5 points), verified through the CSD report and ID copies of directors. Specific Goal 2 (RDP), also worth up to 10 points, awarded to businesses in KwaZulu-Natal (10 points) or other provinces (5 points), verified through the CSD report, proof of municipal accounts, an affidavit, or proof of residence signed by the ward councillor. Bidders must also be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The municipality is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid, and adjudication will follow its Supply Chain Management Policy.
