Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality in Upington, Northern Cape, is inviting quotations for the supply and delivery of Google Workspace licences under tender reference TN053/2026. The municipality's current Google Workspace licences expire on 31 December 2026, so the new licences must be delivered on or before that date and be valid for 12 months, from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. The required licence mix is 275 Google Workspace Business Starter licences and 125 Google Workspace Business Standard licences, giving a total of 400 users. The successful bidder is responsible for activating all licences. Pricing must be quoted in ZAR, be firm, be inclusive of VAT, and include delivery, accommodation and travel costs, with the total bid price covering the training component.

The scope also includes virtual training for 400 users. General user training must cover the practical use of Google Workspace applications, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Meet, Drive and Calendar. Bids are evaluated under the 80/20 preferential point system, with 20 points available for specific goals. Bidders within the boundaries of the Republic of South Africa can claim these points with proof such as a municipal account or a signed lease agreement.
