Dawid Kruiper Municipality in the Northern Cape is inviting bids for the supply and delivery of LED luminaires to replace or upgrade existing high mast lighting installations across various locations within the municipal area. The scope covers 164 units in total: 68 units of 390W LED floodlights and 96 units of 195W LED floodlights. Goods must be delivered as a whole to the Electrical Department at Kowen Street, Upington, and bidders should note that the municipality may award per line item or as a whole and may reduce quantities based on the available budget.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide valid tax compliance status, a municipal account not older than three months with no arrears over 90 days (or a sworn affidavit or valid lease agreement), and completed MBD forms including MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 7.1, 8 and 9. Prices must be firm, VAT-inclusive, valid for 120 days, and evaluated under the 80/20 preference point system, with up to 20 points for locality within the municipal boundaries. Bids must be submitted as original signed documents, either in the municipal tender box or in person, by 14:00 on Friday, 13 November 2026, as faxed or emailed submissions will not be considered.
